Safety alerts: Bingi Dreaming track
Bingi Dreaming track traverses openings to several Intermittently Closed and Open Coastal Lakes and Lagoons (ICOLLS). Openings of these lakes and lagoons are often unpredictable and can be quite dramatic. Visitors should be aware that although lakes are usually only open for short periods (weeks) they can be impassable when open. Coila Lake opening is at the southern extent of the Bingi Dreaming track. Please check if this lake is open prior to setting out; if the opening is impassable you will not be able to access the village of Tuross.
Recent stormy weather has resulted in damage to our beaches - please be careful. There may be temporary closures whilst works are completed. Closures will be signposted onsite; please follow instructions on any signs you see. For more information, contact NPWS Narooma area office on (02) 4476 0800.
