Other planned events: 1080 aerial baiting program
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting an aerial baiting program. Baits containing 1080 (sodium fluroacetate) poison will be deployed for the control of wild dogs and foxes. The program is part of an integrated pest animal control strategy aimed at minimising the impacts of these pests on neighbouring stock and local threatened species.
Aerial baiting will take place from Monday 21 May until Wednesday 30 May 2018 in the following national parks and reserves:
