Drought Aid
The drought has been felt right across our beautiful country. While we can't make it rain, we can find ways to help the communities that have been affected. We, as an Association have adopted Coolah in NSW. We had a huge event there in February 2019 and our members continue to visit and spend money in the town. Some of our clubs have created their own drought relief programs and others have adopted other towns. These programs have meant that as a group, we have contributed over $250 000.00 to outback communities in the last couple of years. Our members plan day trips to needy places just to spend money, fuel, lunch at the pub or cafe and a visit to the shops. Small amounts continue to add up. All money is helpful. We will continue to do this until the drought breaks.
